Top Transfer Target! UCLA Football Makes Play for Experienced Cal Cornerback

According to sources, UCLA Football is hosting transfer cornerback Kaylin Moore on an unofficial visit on Wednesday.

The 6′ 190 lbs true senior entered the transfer portal this spring intending to leave Cal-Berkeley. This is his second time in the portal. He had originally enrolled at Colorado after leaving Oaks Christian in Westlake Village, CA. He played two seasons before transferring to Cal.

Moore wasn’t originally recruited by UCLA, despite the close proximity of his home and the school.

UCLA Football Looks To Pad CB Room With 2-Year Starter

The former 3-star recruit has started each of the last two seasons. Colorado used him almost exclusively as an outside corner, while Cal used him in the slot. There he made a big stride toward improvement. He cut his missed tackles down from 12 to just two. He also improved in coverage, allowing just 23 catches on 34 targets according to PFF.

UCLA is eagerly looking to add additional cornerbacks to their team. They’ve been talking to several transfer candidates, including Cormani McClain from Colorado, Ceyair Wright from USC, and Jeremiah Hughes from LSU, per 247 Sports.

The Bruins cornerback room lacks depth. They lack experienced backups and even the starters have some areas for improvement.
